I will refund your item's total amount upon having received the returned item, as long as it is not damaged, (this includes rust from poor maintenance) If it is returned without tracking information, I can’t be held responsible if it gets lost in the mail...

Please keep in mind, if the item is not defective then you will be responsible for the return shipping fees.

This oyster shucker is forged from an antique steel rail spike, the blade portion has a patina and a thin protective oil layer. To prevent it from rusting after each use simply scrub with a stiff brush, dry immediately and apply a thin layer of cooking oil much like an old cast iron cooking pan. Avoid using soap or washing up liquid where possible and don't leave it to air dry. If rust occurs, simply repeat cleaning instructions. The handle portion is sealed with a clear varnish and does not require oiling.
