  • CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Please make sure you have read the care instruction carefully as these handmade items may require a little maintenance

These cleavers are made from carbon steel, after use, rinse in hot water, wipe clean with a sponge and dry immediately.

Avoid using soap or washing up liquid where possible and DO NOT put in a dishwasher.

Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the blade portion of your item, removing any excess oil with a paper towel and store in a dry place similar to how you would care for a cast iron pan.

If rust occurs, simply scrub with a stiff brush under hot water, dry immediately and apply oil. Your item will have taken on a little more character and be ready to use or store.

The handle portion is sealed with a clear varnish and does not require oiling.
